USE OF FACILITIES (Rent a District Facility)
Fee Schedule Effective January 1, 2024
Placer Union High School District is pleased to announce a new online facility request and rental system designed to provide a positive user experience for all. With the new system, reservation requests can be submitted easily and will be handled more efficiently. Renters will be able to access photos and descriptions, see real-time availability, get estimated quotes and pay online.
In partnering with Facilitron, Placer Union High School District will be launching custom facility use sites for the District and each school – allowing facility use requests to be submitted at any time. Although the process of requesting/approval/management of facility requests will be managed through Facilitron, what is implemented in the new system remains the same as dictated by Placer Union High School District’s Board Policies on facility use. The District’s administrative staff makes final decisions on all facility use requests.
Facilitron will assist with the set-up of organization and user accounts along with verification of non-profit status (if applicable). Facilitron will also collect payment and proof of insurance (certificate of insurance) on Placer Union High School District’s behalf. Payments can be submitted conveniently on Facilitron. Payment options include major credit cards, checks, ACH/eCheck, and Paypal. Proof of insurance (certificate of insurance) can also be conveniently uploaded into the system, and/or it can be obtained directly through Facilitron.
The new Facilitron system will launch July 1st, 2023. Once live, the only way to request use of a District facility is by creating a Facilitron account and submitting a request online. Please view the introduction to placing a request. For those who had reservations with Placer Union High School District prior to Facilitron, accounts have already been created on your behalf, and an automated email has been sent to you to create a password to access your renter account. - How do I put in a request to use PUHSD facilities?
You can submit your facilities use application on Facilitron: Facilitron - Placer Union High School District. Please view the video tutorial for placing a request. Your request will then be reviewed by the school site and district teams. - How do I create a Facilitron account?
For those who had existing reservations with Placer Union High School District, prior to Facilitron, accounts have already been created on your behalf, and an automated email has been sent to you to create a password to access your renter account. If you’re new, you can create your account on Facilitron.com. Instructions for doing so are available on Facilitron Support. - How will I know once my reservation is approved?
You will receive an email from Facilitron with your permit once your reservation has been approved. More information about Facilitron approval notifications can be found on Facilitron Support. You will need to ensure you’ve submitted full payment and insurance that meets Placer Union High School District requirements through Facilitron. - How do I cancel my reservation at PUHSD schools?
There is a button to request to cancel your reservation on your Facilitron reservation details page. Instructions for canceling your reservation through Facilitron are available on Facilitron Support. - How can I get assistance creating a reservation in Facilitron, creating an account or managing my reservations?

Current Fees Effective July 1, 2024
- Commercial Construction: $0.336 per square foot
- Level I Residential Construction: $2.07 per square foot
Fees will be charged using the most current rate which has been approved by the Placer Union High School District Board of Trustees. Fees must be paid prior to the City issuing building permits.
Please note the Residential Fee of $2.07 applies to ADU's and JADU's (500 square feet and above)

Developer Fee Procedures:
- Contact appropriate City or County to obtain application for permit. Wait until the City or County completes the application for permit information before proceeding.
- Email a copy of the County Permit Issuance Checklist to Ann Walsh, Senior District Administrative Assistant, Administrative Services: awalsh@puhsd.k12.ca.us; Phone (530) 886-4413.
- Present cashier's check or business/personal check made payable to Placer Union High School District (or PUHSD) for the amount indicated for payment of fees.
- Receive a Certificate of Compliance from Placer Union High School District which the applicant will present to the City or County.

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF SCHOOL IMPACT FEE REPORT
PLACER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Placer Union High School District (“District”) has completed and is making available for public review its proposed Annual Developer Fee Report and Five-Year Findings (“Fee Report”) pursuant to Government Code sections 66001 and 66006(b)(2) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The Fee Report is available for public review on the District’s website.
The Board will review the Fee Report at its next regularly scheduled public meeting on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The public meeting for this purpose will begin at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, and will be held at the Ron V. Oates (RVO) Meeting Room, 13000 New Airport Road, Auburn, California 95603.
